Mother's Day is our favorite time of year. Most moms (like mine) are happiest with even the smallest gesture of much-deserved appreciation and flowers are an excellent choice when all the best blooms are in season! From lilac and peonies to ranunculus and anemones, we are excited so have so many glorious and fragrant choices at our finger tips.

While it's not too late, I strongly encourage our customers to place their order online immediately. Our orders are rolling in fast and furious this year. We are very excited to get to work and to see so many familiar faces at the flower shop.

Our Mother's day hours on Sunday are from 9a-1p.

Warmly,

Vanessa

Freshly Remodeled Shop

affordable flower shop

I think we're all ready for a fresh start which is why we decided that our little store needed a makeover. We replaced the outdoor sign with our re-branded logo, and the inside now feels downright magical. Potrero Hill artist and carpenter, Paul Olson, traveled long distances during the day to source the perfect materials like recycled redwood, vintage mirrors and wrought iron brackets. At night he would get to work transforming walls, corners and-- even the ceiling!--into a practical works of art. It was very exciting to open the shop in the morning and see all that he had done. Paul was even careful to put back every candle, vase, and bucket exactly as he found it and sweep the floors more thoroughly than they had been swept in months. We are so grateful to Paul Olson for our brand new look! It makes coming to work that much for enjoyable.

With all the extra space comes exciting new products! Paul hung a trellis from the ceiling and created more vertical space for us to feature little treasures. We brought in fresh vining plants, interesting hanging containers, macrame hangers, and hummingbird alebrijes which are zipping out the door. With the additional shelving we've started carrying new lines of candles and botanical skin care products from The Munio and Among the Flowers.

Come and see for yourself all the new changes, big and small. And pick up some flowers, a candle, or maybe a hummingbird for Mom!

Weekends on the Hill

During the month of May, 18th Street is closed to cars from Connecticut to Mississippi. It has been very exciting to experience more foot traffic and meet new neighbors while listening to live music in the lovely sunshine we've been having lately.

Check it out Friday 4 p-10p, Saturday 8a-10p and Sunday 8a-4p
